Southern Tier Orchid Show-April 23, 24 &
25
I have been invited to show several of my orchid watercolors
again this year at the Oakdale Mall. Of course, there are fabulous
living orchids and experts eager to help you grow them at this
beautiful annual show and sale in Johnson City NY. Dave Clemens
has been so generous in loaning me Cirrhopetalum Louis Sander,
Brassidium Longlen 'Bill Switzer" and Encyclia cochleata.
They'll be there. Come visit.

Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-4pm April
24th through May 16 at two Montrose, PA locations: Community Foundation
of Susquehanna County Building-36 Lake Avenue and Rosemont Inn
Bed & Breakfast-21 Lake Avenue. This exhibit is sponsored
by the Edward L. Rose Conservancy and proceeds will support the
development of the Montrose Heritage Greenbelt. Forty-six artists
portray our county in wood, glass, paint, photography, fibre art,
sculpture, clay. Come see who won awards!
All Day Paint-Out at Salt Spring State Park-May

Members of the Pennsylvania Plein Air Society and National
Academy of Professional Plein Air Painters will be working on
location around the park.
You're invited, too. Come and paint or watch.
Meet in the main parking lot by the Wheaton House at 10 am,
rain date May 23.
One Day Plein Air Show-June 12th
2-5pm at the Waverly Community House, Waverly, PA. Watercolors,
oils and pastels by a variety of out-of-doors painters. All styles,
all views and impressions of area landscapes.
Drawing from Nature at Salt
Spring State Park-June 19
From 9-11 am I will be conducting a workshop. Bring your sketchbooks
and drawing materials, sturdy shoes and a sharp eye. We'll meet

Summer Studio Art Exhibit-July 2-11
Opening Friday July 2 from 6-9-everyone is invited. Every day
after that from10-6 through July 11. New watercolor and pastel
paintings: flowers, gardens, landscapes; and selected functional
pieces of pottery from Stony
Meadow Pottery created by Jordan Taylor and his apprentice,
Zoë Poster. Come view the art, ceramics and garden.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (July 6, 7 & 8) you and all
other artists are invited to join me painting outdoors in the
garden. At the end of the day we will have a little social hour
to discuss and admire our work.

On display in the Wheaton House, Salt
Spring State Park, located in Franklin Forks, one mile west
of the intersection of Silver Creek Road and Route 29 in Franklin
Township, 5 miles North of Montrose, Susquehanna County in Northeastern
Pennsylvania. Opening Reception: Friday, August 27, 7 - 9 PM
Continuing: Aug. 28 - 30; Sept. 3 - 6; Sept. 10 - 12. Exhibition
hours: 1 - 4 PM Saturdays, Sundays and Labor Day; 6 - 8 PM Mondays
and Fridays.
