Pennsylvania En Plein Air Society Spring Show - Glenburn, PA - April 29 through May 25, 2007 - 9 to noon, Monday through Friday.

Summer Show at Studio -
June 29 through July 8, 2007
Opening Friday June 29 from 6-8pm - everyone is invited. Every day after that;
10-6pm, through July 8. I will be showing my new watercolor and pastel paintings: Arizona desert & grasslands, snowscenes, flowers, gardens, landscapes, nocturnes.
My favorite guest artist, Zoë Poster, will be showing with me: clay foxes in boxes, slabs & bud vases.

Any day July 2 through 8 you and all other artists are invited to join me painting outdoors in the garden. Get some of your painting pals together, bring your lunch and come on out. My colorful garden is a great plein air painting location. At the end of the day we will have a little social hour to discuss and admire our work. Free. No instruction. 570-278-2479.

Blueberry Festival - August 3 & 4th
My studio will be open 10-4 Friday and Saturday and I will donate 5% of all sales to Susquehanna County Library and Historical Society so come on out and see what is new. The studio is open at other times by appointment. 570-278-2479

A reception for the artists of the Pennsylvania En Plein Air Society will be on September 9 2-4pm. 701 East 16th St. Berwick, PA

Glenburn Township 3rd Annual Art Show & Sale September 23-October 25
"Lackawanna Wonderful" is the title of the show and each of the invited artists will be hsowing at least one work of Lackawanna County. Glenburn Twp Building, 3110 Waterford Rd. Dalton, PA 9-12am Monday through Thursday or by appointment at 570-563-1177. Reception September 23 from 3-5pm.

Around the Barn - October 5 through 28 - EMCA Gallery Tunkhannock

Trees: A Collaborative Exhibit of Writing and Visual Arts -October 27 through November 17 at the Butternut Gallery and Second Story Books in Montrose, PA. Opening Reception October 27, 3-6pm. I am invited to participate in this exhibit curated by Melissa Haertsch in which original writings are paired with visual art created in response to the writing. The poem I will be responding to is Apple Tree by Kimberley Johnson, Berkeley, California.

Pastel Demonstration at Hill Country Artists Mtg.- Montrose- November 1
I will be doing a pastel flower garden painting. I'll be talking about concept, composition, color, using photographic reference and anything else the group asks about. I've done several demos for this group in the past. The artists are always interested and knowledgeable. It is informal and free. They welcome drop-ins. 7pm at Claverack on Rt 706 just east of Montrose.

Demo & Workshop - Wyoming Valley Art League - November 9 & 10
There will be a Friday night demo at 8pm. I will show slides of my paintings and work on a 'Tangled Garden' Pastel. Saturday will be a full day workshop and there will be a fee. Supply list and details will be posted on www.wval.org or call me. 570-278-2479
