Wild Child Garden
pastel
24 x 32 in. image size

When I first started gardening in earnest I was quite concerned that everything look good together..I had a lovely perennial garden of compatible pastels...lots of white plants. If something clashed I quickly uprooted the offender and moved it out. Whether it is a function of age (mine), laziness, or whatever, now I like brazen color combinations. The things I used to think clashed, I now adore. I like to believe I, as a gardener, am in touch with my inner wild child. Painting this was so much fun!
